Tullius scores in Royal Windsor Stakes for Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds
TULLIUS made it two victories on the trot when winning the Royal Windsor Stakes (L) at Windsor on 14th May for Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds and trainer Andrew Balding.
Trainer Andrew Balding said: "It was a nice performance from Tullius. He was very impressive at Newmarket and there was a concern about running him back so quickly, but he stuck on well. There are plenty of options for him now, here and abroad including Group level races."
Out of the Kingmambo mare, Whipped Queen, and by Le Vie Dei Colori, Tullius was purchased by David Redvers Bloostock as a yearling from Tattersalls for 20,000gns.

New Pearl shines on Guineas weekend
NEW PEARL lived up to expectations when comfortably landing the appropriately named Makfi Future Stars Maiden Stakes over 5f at Newmarket on Sunday 6th May for Pearl Bloodstock.
Trained by David Brown, this two-year-old colt made all and stretched to a winning margin of 5 lengths displaying an impressive turn of foot in the deteriorating ground conditions. It was fantastic to have such an great winner over the Qipco Guineas Festival weekend and New Pearl's reappearance is awaited with huge excitement with his target likely to be the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
By Acclamation, New Pearl, was purchased by David Reders Bloodstock for £75,000 as a yearling from the DBS Premier Yearling Sales.
Another Pearl Bloodstock horse to run well this weekend at Newmarket was DUNADEN, who finished third in the Qatar Bloodstock Jockey Club Stakes on his debut this season, despite conceding weight and lack of early pace.
Other horses purchased by David Redvers Bloodstock to achieve recent success was SHIMMERING SURF who finished second in the Daisy Warwick Stakes (L) at Goodwood for owner Peter Winkworth and trainer Roger Varian. Also the 20,000gns purchase, TULLIUS, won the valuable Makfi Suffolk Stakes at Newmarket for trainer Andrew Balding and Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds.

Gusto lands fourth consecutive Stakes success
GUSTO won his fourth consecutive Stakes race yesterday when landing the Pavilion Stakes (L) over 6f at Kempton. He was following up victory in the Prix Sigy (L) at Maisons-Laffitte in France and the Spring Cup (L) at Lingfield earlier this year for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing and trainer Richard Hannon.
This OASIS DREAM colt out of PICKLE was purchased by the Tweenhills/Rathmore pinhooking syndicate as a foal for 67,000gns and sold as a yearling to John Warren at Goffs for €120,000.
Gusto also won three times last season as a two-year-old, which included victory in the Doncaster Stakes (L).
