David has purchased a number of successful horses and is quickly gaining a reputation for having an excellent eye for a horse without spending a fortune. Many horses have also gone on to give their owners a rapid return on their investment.

His most notable yearling and breeze-up purchases for clients are listed below by the year in which they were purchased.

Other significant purchases include the foal pin-hooks Rising Cross and Dark Islander who both went on to win Gr.2 races. Rajeem won the Gr.1 Falmouth Stakes following the purchase of her dam Magic Sister for 35,000gns by David. In addition, exciting new sire, Sleeping Indian, won the Gr.2 Challenge Stakes and was an unlucky 4th in the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Mile since being purchased by David and Stephen Hillen to stand at Tweenhills.
